We specialize in facilitating the strategic development process. Starting with defining the company’s mission, then determining objectives and goals that align with that mission, and finally devising steps the company will need to take to reach those goals.

Rikki: "Born and raised in Northern CA I have a great love for the best of what the region has to offer; hiking, wine tasting, a good book, any water view, friends and family. There is also time for work and I am fortunate to love what I do as well. Partnering with my husband John, we founded Shaffer Consulting in 2008, and specialize in the development and launch of new ventures, and assisting with the growth and enhancement of existing organizations through the strategic development process."
John is the master of all things finance and real estate related (with 30+ years in the industry), while I have more than 20 years executive leadership experience in both the private and non-profit sector.
